There have been a few dozen people in the past three decades who have marketed Corporations Sole as a means of hiding assets from creditors, as well as evading income tax. These sources for sets of documents for Corporations Sole are fairly easy to identify.

There have also been many examples of “copy-cat” merchants, who bought someone’s Corporation Sole documents, and had the thought that they could make the money as easily as the person from whom they bought their documents. The problem with the copy-cat documents is the same problem that is encountered by people who make molds for casting anything from precision machine parts to sculpture. Any error in the original is doubled in any copy.
